We're thrilled to announce a two-year corporate partnership with ING in the UK.

We're delighted to report that ING in the UK has chosen the Charlie Waller Trust for a new two-year corporate partnership.

The collaboration aims to fundraise £100,000, to help us continue delivering our vital work providing expert mental health training to schools, colleges, universities, and workplaces so they can better support young people.

Global financial institution ING has a long-standing community investment programme in the UK and selected the Trust for the new partnership following the nomination from an employee and their shared values, including the importance of wellbeing.

Action-packed partnership

The partnership is set to be action-packed and will enable ING employees to get involved with some of Charlie Waller’s exciting fund-raising initiatives. Running challenges, treks abroad, team events, quizzes and musical events are just some of those opportunities and ING will also have access to the trust’s resource library on a variety of mental health topics.

Helen Franks, Corporate Partnership Manager at Charlie Waller Trust, said:

“I’m really excited about our partnership with ING, because together we can raise awareness and reduce the stigma of mental health issues with their staff, families and customers.

“We know that giving people access to clear, easy-to-understand and clinically proven information is an excellent step in supporting mental health and wellbeing. Helping ING to further enhance their mental health offering is just one of the many benefits of this exciting partnership.”

It’s such a wonderful charity that my family have had a close association with over many years.

The Trust was nominated by Rob Perkins, a Managing Director of Corporate Finance at ING. He said:

I am so excited that the Charlie Waller Trust has been selected as ING’s new charity partner in the UK.

"It’s such a wonderful charity that my family have had a close association with over many years. It provides key services in raising awareness and delivering essential care to young people in relation to their mental wellbeing. We are looking forward to a productive partnership over the coming two years!”
