Charlie Waller becomes PACE charity of the year
August 10 2021
We are thrilled that PACE have chosen to partner with us as they develop their corporate social responsibility (CSR) charter. The dynamism of the company is reflected in the fact that they have already held some fundraising events for us, including a sweepstake on the Euros, and have many more exciting plans for the coming months. One of their number, Lateef, is running the Vitality Half Marathon for us on 22 August – you can support Lateef here.
Not only are the company supporting us through raising funds, they are offering us some pro bono consultancy, which will be invaluable.
Tim Bretman, PACE CEO said:
“At PACE, the mental wellbeing of our ‘PACE-setters’ is at the front and centre of how we behave as a wider team. We recognise that we are only as good as our people, and that our people are at their best when they are mentally healthy. PACE are looking forward to being a key fundraiser, ambassador and advocate for the vital work of the Charlie Waller Trust. We are very excited to support such an amazing charity!”
Clare Stafford, Charlie Waller CEO, added:
“We are thrilled to have been chosen by PACE as one of their partner charities. Their commitment to the mental health of both their employees and the wider community is clear. It’s an exciting partnership for us and we very much look forward to building our relationship with the company.”
